Again, I'll mention the key code on the helmet lock. All the OEM
locks on a new Honda (ignition, gas cap, helmet lock and seat lock)
are designed to be operated by the same key.

Gas caps aren't stamped with the code, probly cuz the code would be
easy for a thief, with a crowbar or a screwdriver,.to obtain.

But both the helmet lock and ignition switch cylinder require some
disassembly, so the key code is stamped into the housing, usually on
the back so it isn't readily readable.

That doesn't help with your replacement ignition, but I would think it
too would have a key code of some sort. Maybe not OEM Honda, but it
might give you a clue to the manufacturer.

Your WOW locksmith sounds like your best alternative if you have no
luck with key codes. Might even be the same one I used, since she's
based in Marietta, and the appointment "window"
sounds like the way she operates.

By showing up during her appointment time at WOW you wouldn't have to
pay her transportation cost. That's why mine was so pricey. She had
to make a 60+ mile round trip to get to me.
