Ethanol is both corrosive (especially on rubber, plastic) and it readily absorbs water. Today's pump gas will degrade within two weeks (notable hard starting and power loss) and within 60 days will have degraded to a point where some engines won't even run. At 120 days it has seperated into 4 layers of toxic waste. The bottom layer is comprised of ethanol that has absorbed moisture from the air and is damaging steel and aluminum.
FYI I offer ultrasonic cleaning and carb rebuilding services. (many of my customers simply bring/ship me carbs, either together or disassembled. The ultrasonic cleaner is superior to all other cleaning methods. I also offer complete fuel system flush, clean, and repair, although it's hard to do that one through the mail. :) Sent from Yahoo!
