i had a vstar 650 for a couple months and loved it. it had cobra slash cut pipes with the baffles and sounded great. yea it was slow compared to my nh700s but faster than a nh250. it got 65mpg. comfortable, low seat height and it absorbed bumps really well if you set shocks to soft setting. this would be a good bike for christy based on her height and riding experience.
