Friend of mine has an xl1200, he gets ~30s. Definitely a step down from
what I'm used to with the Hondas, but maybe the smaller engine would do
better?

Of course, second hand prices on those versus a secondhand metric are
CRAZY, so I'm unlikely to have to worry about it anytime soon?
