Oh, so I pulled you into saying this?

"but if you did that, who the heck would you diss and try to feel superior over?
all you guys have done when you talk about harley is crap on Harleys and Harley
riders.
the best bike for you would be the Morality Hypocrite"

If I'm wrong than simply answer one question. Name one measurable quality that
any HD product has superior design over any Japanese product? Japanese bikes
are more powerful, get better gas mileage, last longer without the need to
rebuild, handle better, stop faster, are more reliable, are more cost effective
to buy and own. Heck if not for Japanese components a HD would be just a frame,
and a non running engine.

I tried being nice Javier. all the happened was I got pulled into a grade
school flame war. not going there again, but I will speak my mind as I do irl
and online.
its not like the people sniping would do it irl.
elitists are idiots whether they ride an hd or a Honda. the difference is that
the hd elitists will tell youthier ridiculous ' my bike is better than yours'
theories to your face.

I too like all bikes.
as much as the few elitist nuts here like to pretend otherwise,  as ive stated
here before, several times. I have had far more Japanese bikes than anything
else.
ive even had more british bikes than Harleys.
its not about the bike, its about the ride.
that being said, to the point of hd being inferior, how many 1919 Honda are
still in existence?
how many 1919 hds? far more. old cast iron Harleys were made for longevity,
that's why they become heirlooms passed from father to son. that's the appeal
of a Harley.

Japanese bikes are better performers in most cases.
heck my 83 650 is around 80 hp, box stock and with the header, prolly over 90
hp, that's insane engineering to get a motor that small to perform like that.
that's what Japanese bikes do.

Is funny. Today we had (finally) a really nice day in Boston and I went with
the family to the downtown. Lots of people, and lots of bikes. We saw a small
HD crow riding by. I told my wife, one day we should get own one of those. She
said I was crazy (she doesn't really like them), and then asked my way. I said
the truth: with bikes I am like a wore, I really like them all. Of course, I
just like Japanese a lot more, but I have never own a HD, so I can't really
tell anything about how they are. If I get one, first it has to be a really
really good deal (like all the bikes I had owned so far), and it can't be just
any model. I found the really huge ones to be obnoxious, and when I see how
much they vibrate when idling, well it just makes my prostate tickle.

And Jeff, I really don't want to be part of any big argument here, but if you
have felt offended by the members of this group in any way, you can just talk
about it in a nice and polite way. There is nothing we cannot solve by just
talking it over. How about that?

Javier.

What can you say Paul, he's a HD guy who can't afford to own one, so he rides a
NH begrudgingly. BTW Jeff, while I generally think HD makes inferior products
and sells them for way too much money. I can appreciate a nice looking bike
regardless of make. I just find the HD culture laughable.
