Just got back from 5 days on my yellow 1996 Nighthawk 750. I rode it from
Atlanta, up or along the Blue Ridge Parkway into northern Virginia, and
then went over to DC. After a day in DC, I rode it back nearly non-stop
yesterday from DC to ATL on I-95 and I-85.

The bike was FLAWLESS. Before the trip, I added 1" up and 1" back handlebar
risers, a throttle lock, a wrist saver lever, and a handlebar mount for my
GPS. I also added a set of HH brake pads at Allen's suggestion, which
installed in 10 min. and were great. With the 16T front sprocket and
highway pegs, the bike was comfortable, powerful, and quiet enough to let
me listen to my favorite music on my iPod. And shall I mention that my wife
celebrated her 56th birthday on the back behind me?

This is not to say that other bikes would not have also given great
results, but it is to say, "Viva la Nighthawk!" I love mine.
