Seriously though Graham I'll make a trip up there and give that xj another go. Besides I want you to check out Ol' Blue. So you replaced the pulse generator? I can't remember what the other part that could be the culprit was. I do remember that bike didn't match the wiring diagram quite right. What year is it again? I'll do some research on it.
