I was riding yesterday as I do every day, when I smelled a hint of burning rubber & oil. My daily commute is mostly surface streets, so o couldn't tell if it was my bike or other vehicles. Riding to work this morning I got a wiff on the same smelled. Looked all around my bike a saw a hint of smoke coming from the engine. When I got to work, I got off and saw that the smoke was coming from the oil filter. Oil was dripping on the lower part of the block on to the front of the oil bottom case, then on to the exhuast. Loose filter. Let the bike cool & tightened it. I will examine it more closely this weekend.
