The light on my bike is dim at idle & flickers when the turn signals are on.
The dim & flicker reduce after having ridden for 5-8 minutes. The bike never
fails to start, so I guess the charging system is doing ok.

Thank you,

Ross

Let's put it this way. I buy Walmart batteries. They last a season or two if
I don't put them on maintainers. With them on maintainers, they go for 5 or 6
years, Graham

Ordinarily I'd like to see around 14V, but I have read a bunch that these
bike's didn't charge very well when new, and most people put them on a float
charger when not riding. Jason's bike is charging around 13.8V from 3K RM on up
so I don't think it will have issues with the battery draining during riding
but that is a pretty low number. Anyway if someone know please speak up I don't
want to go diagnosing a "problem" if none exists. Thanks.
