So...this is a 2007 Ninja 250 ( I have yet to get all the info on the bike)...but I have been perusing a Ninja 250 forum...and they said, contrary to what I know from my MSF course and my Nighthawk...that it is not necessary to allow the bike to "warm up" per se...Now, from what I understand newer model sports bikes and even harley's don't have a choke...and thus...you just start 'em up...and GOOO!!!!....but my Nighthawk, and apparently this Ninja don't do too well that way...For one thing, if I don't start the Ninja everyday, I have to jump start her...like I did today (before today, I had rode on Saturday), now maybe, I just need a new battery, maybe it's just MC batteries in general, I don't know...but...once I get her started, If I proceed to just go without warming up...she dies at every stop...so ....what do y'all say...warm er up...or start and go?
Thanks guys...y'all are always so helpful NghthwkLvr -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Nighthawk Motorcycle Lovers!" group.
