That is BS, no tire is balanced perfectly. Changing tires isn't that bad, though persistence is the key not brute strength. Sent via BlackBerry by AT&T

I just got back from having a dealership put a back tire on my NH wheel for my upcoming trip. The shop guy told me something I hadn't expected. He said the wheel weights on my back wheel were for the wheel only, and the tire (Pirelli) was made in such a way that it was already balanced. He said, "If you wanted to change that tire yourself after the trip, just leave the weights where they are and put on a new tire." Well, after I figure in the gas money, I probably pay $40 every time I have a tire changed. I think I would like to do my own. For those of you who do your own, how difficult are the tires to get on and off? I've got a set of irons. What liquid do you use to create the bead? I just changed a back tire on my riding lawnmower myself, and after I got the bead broken, it wasn't that bad. Definitely better than driving to pay someone else to do it. Thanks. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Nighthawk Motorcycle Lovers!" group.
