So I have the EXACT same issues as you described on my 84 that I just bought. Everything worked for a few days then the blinkers stopped blinking and the rest. Did you ever find out what it was? I'm almost certain I need a flasher relay but I have no idea why/how that would cause my brake light not to work... If you have the answer I'd be eternally grateful
