That's a *good* thing. "Gas line antifreeze" and other products like it are
ethanol and other alcohols. The ethanol in gasoline has already pulled all
the water it is going to from the atmosphere, but if you happen to get a
little leak into your tank it'll keep it in suspension and let you go on
with life riding as normal.

As for getting 20% more mileage, that's all in your head and your
subconscious. There is a 3% energy density difference between E00 and E10.
Industry permissible batch to batch energy content variation is 5%. The
average change in fuel economy caused by a slight difference in mood is
10-15%. Your subconscious and frame of mind impact fuel economy far more
than a tiny ethanol fraction ever will.
