I hear you Kurt. That's what I thought about Telsa many times (for many 
years since the Internet was popular).

The only reason I saw this one again was a CNN Money editor took a test 
ride in a rough test model without insulation or AC (loud, hot)
and it did not have the custom engine that would be made for the vehicle 
(it sounds like it will be a watercooled mild Triumph trident engine)..
That is getting pretty close with a plant picked out and a one year notice 
to New Orleans.

If you think about it, a 91-03 NH 750 engine could do about the same thing 
(except without AC) with a cockpit around it (55 hp) 
But yeah, I'm waiting too and hoping like heck this one pans out. It is the 
most practical vehicle I've ever seen.
Three wheel cars, as well as electric cars, were the rage around year 1900 
when industrialists crushed them then too: bastards.
