My gas level sensor was not working properly, the original Honda part is already discontinued and the ones that sometimes are available on EBay are very rare and look rusted, so I decided to find a possible replacement, and I found one Fuel sensing unit of a Honda Brazilian motorcycle ( http://www.motorcyclespecs.co.za/model/Honda/honda_cg125%2095.htm ) that have the fuel tank very similar, the bolt pattern and the fitting are the same as the CB700 SC.
I bought one to try it, I already did a dry fit and is perfect. Right now I'm performing some repairs on my CB700SC, and the gas tank is empty. So in a couple of weeks I will tell you the final results, but I'm pretty sure it will work ok.
