Hi all, I'm new to the group and I recently purchased an 85 cb450 nighthawk with 12,008 miles on it. It was dumped by a relative so I picked it up fairly cheap and have replaced the broken parts as well as straightened everything back out. I've raced dirt bikes since I was young so I'm not new to motorcycles, just street bikes. I've got just about everything fixed except the couple parts I'm waiting on. (A new speedometer cable and choke cable.) I rode the bike up and down the road a few times and realized the gas cap leaks under acceleration and braking. Is there a replacement seal I can get for under it or can I get a second seal to place over the current one? It appears to be the original gas cap based on many pictures I've looked at. Besides this issue the bike runs great since I ran about a tank of gas through it along with a can of seafoam.
