That is not vapor lock. That is the intake valve open, hot engine, hot oil it's a vapor but not what your thinking.
Hopefully your not idling the bike at a stand still with no airflow during all your testing, I've pointed this out before, air cooled means just that, needs air too move across the fins frame and oil cooler. Please, remove that inline filter, take bike for a good ride. Try not to stall it, just normal easy riding; 15 miles or so. Get it back home and shut bike off, see if it will restart.
