I thought this was interesting. Honda 300 was the only 4v, the cheapest at $4k, the fastest, and rated #1. Being a big guy and having owned a couple of Norton Commando's (71, the best of all years, and 72 Combat) as well as currently own a BMW 650 Rotax thump, I liked the 535 Royal Enfield w/2v ohv's with the most torque, the most expensive at $6k - ouch, and rated #2 (I could not fit on the Honda 300 with my heels in my rear end :-( It was a pretty descriptive comparison complete with hp, torque, and riding comparisons from multiple pilots.Wow, I got my first bike, Kaw 400 triple brand new for $900, but 2 strokes were cheap, fast, and popped a lot of wheelies - fun first bike. I should have gotten a Yamaha RD350, but my (dumb) youth went for speed and the cheaper price. I used to outrun my RD friends (except in tight handling), but those were not new bikes either (RD 250's and 350's.) Lightweight bikes are cool around town mostly if you are not too big for them. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Nighthawk Motorcycle Lovers!" group.
