I agree. Mine range is 650 to 750cc: just right for handling and not too 
fast (to get me killed.)

That's why I liked the 535cc torquey Royal Enfield. The main downside of it 
would be dealer locations. I've never seen one before, but I haven't looked 
either. And for $1000 more, you can get nice 650 to 700cc bikes.

Torque was the whole appeal of British bike revolution and single cylinder 
thumps. In fact the 91-03 Nighthawk 750 was geared down to provide better 
torque, and that was the icing on the cake that made me love Honda Nighawk 
Motorcycles. Torque is where it's at for big people. Smaller and younger 
people have a wider choice of preferences and can get any Honda or any bike 
they want.
