I think that's pretty good. Perhaps you can make the outer seal look better by cleaning and painting. Nice work.

I used Elmers glue and glued a toothpick to the crystal right in the middle to facilitate installation. Then rolled the crystal in a spot of clear RTV. Got one little glob on the inside, but I'm satisfied with the result.
