It was important to merge different aspects of my family history so while not 100% stock, I incorporated several little details but kept her grounded as a nighthawk. The SE on the side covers is for Special edition. My fist date with my wife was on my red 84 650 which died a long time ago. I found this 85 and had it shipped cross country to FL from WA. We have moved to East TN since then and the bike is almost ready to throw the wife on. It has special meaning for us. She only refers to it as the night chicken though...
