My 92 had small crash bars that I think are factory, since I don't remember ever seeing one without them. For highway pegs you can just get the clamp on kind. Though the riding position is not comfortable using them, but it is a change of position. Bike master and emgo make good replacement bars if you want something with more pullback. Just be aware of throttle cable length as higher bars could require finding cables that are longer.
