I did it on my 96 NH750, on a Suzuki gs500, on a 86 GL1200. I always used
two washers per needle. The results are not radical, just mild. I noticed
better response and small increase of power. Most important, it almost
eliminates the hesitation in the mid range. No side effects. I can't tell
if there was any noticeable change in MPG.
