Hi Everyone, I picked up a 84 NH 550 recently which has been stored by
previous owner for few tears. It needed a few repairs and I finally had it
running but I am trying to figure out the problem with shifting. The
hydraulic clutch sight glass had cracked and leaked out all the brake fluid
(hydraulic fluid). I fixed it and bled the slave cylinder and I can put the
tranny in gear but the output shaft doen't turn. When I spin the rear wheel
by hand the output shaft is locked and turns as a unit. To look at ouput
gear unit or transmission issues you have to remove the motor and split the
cases. I really appreciate it if anyone can have suggestions as to what may
be causing this issue before I have the pull the motor.

thanks,
