Tommy was a victim of autocorrect; he meant to type "It had been laid 
down." He forwarded me pictures of the damage by PM, and although the 
damage was cosmetic, it would reduce the asking price. Still, as the bike 
was rideable, it was a good deal and went fast. Good deal for an end user 
or someone wanting a project, not so interesting as a flip for busy people 
like Tommy and me. 

On craigslist as in life, you see a good chance, you act that day. We've 
all seen underpriced bikes that get listed mid-week and never make it to 
the weekend.
