Hello everyone :) I have been looking for a bike to be my first, and have been quite impressed with the look and reliability of the Nighthawk. From my research, there are quite a few of these bikes still on the road, and all the owners (much like yourselves) absolutely love them. I have been looking for the right bike for me, and came across one recently that I am rather excited about... but... I need to know if I want to get into a bike with problems. The listing stated "Cosmetically it's in great shape, mechanically it starts and runs, but will die after riding for about half an hour. I think it might be the rectifier but I don't have the time to try to figure the charging system out."
Now, I have an extensive background in automotive and heavy equipment repair, but I know almost nothing about motorcycles. Don;t get me wrong, I could dive into it and figure it out... my question is this: Is this something that I want to get in to, or is there a possibility that this will be more trouble than it is worth? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Nighthawk Motorcycle Lovers!" group.
