Hello everyone, I saw an add for an '83 Nighthawk 650 which I'll be checking out on Sunday. The seller says it has 58000km, a broken turn indicator, and needs a tune up, carb cleaning and braking system cleaning. He is asking 750$ CDN for it.
This would be my 2nd motorcycle, I bought an '07 Shadow Spirit last year which has been fun to learn on, but now my wife will be using it and I wanted to get my own bike. I wanted to know if anyone had some tips as to what to check on this one? Any part in particular I should pay more attention to or anything that could be a deal breaker? I'll do a visual inspection on it and see if I can get it to start of course, but I don't think it is in a state that I can test ride it.
