My 250 did not have a fuel guage, so I would fill up after 80 if I thought
about it, nervous at 120, never allow it past 150. And i still carry spare
gasoline even in my jeep (it's a MSR 20ish oz aluminum bottle with oring
seal.... designed for holding gasoline for backpacking camp stoves). I've
never had to use it on myself, but it has come in handy rescuing other
people stuck on the side of the road and starting fluid (pour small amount
on paper air filters and let the engine pull the vapors in)
