My 250 did not have a fuel guage, so I would fill up after 80 if I thought about it, nervous at 120, never allow it past 150. And i still carry spare gasoline even in my jeep (it's a MSR 20ish oz aluminum bottle with oring seal.... designed for holding gasoline for backpacking camp stoves).
