The diaphragm in my '86 CB450's petcock has bit the dust. It leaks fuel slowly when the engine is off and the petcock switch is on. When the engine is running, fuel pours everywhere. (Coming out of where the cover and base or perhaps the base and valve body connect.) I took it apart and confirmed; the diaphragm is torn.
I've heard about changing a vacuum petcock to a manual one. Anybody got experience doing this on NHs? Any reason why it shouldn't work? Alternatively, anyone have a source for a replacement petcock?
