Felix, that trip looks great, and I'd certainly like to give it a try on my next trip here. Thanks.
We ended up spending a lot of time in that Disneyland they call Sintra. What an amazing place! We spent time trying to work out the rest of the trip on Google maps in the hotel room last night, and the best we came up with was Elvas for today's destination. That ride was long enough. So here I sit with a round of Camembert, a bottle or red wine, and a beautiful view of the UNESCO site up there on the hill all lit up--all from my 30 euro hotel room. Life is good. We'll try to make it to Cordoba tomorrow, but that may be too ambitious. Spain needs to space their cities better. I find myself getting attached to the BMW. I want it. But then, I wanted to take the Citroen Picasso I rented at Christmas home with me, so a pattern is emerging. I don't know the history of the Varadero or why they don't sell it in the US. Looks interesting. Crossing back into Spain tomorrow. Viva EspaƱa! Motorcycle+adventure=life worth living. Stay twisty, my roads. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Nighthawk Motorcycle Lovers!" group.
