Hello All,

I have a low mileage 2003 Nighthawk 750, its always runs a bit lean at
start up, I use the choke for teh first 1-2 miles during a cold start,
especially in spring, winter and fall, But it always runs fine after the
first miel or so and I returnh it
to normal choke=off position.

I was a away for a couple of weeks, I knew I had a bad battery cause the
Battery Tender could not get it to a Full state, It may have been charging
a couple of days like that before I noticed, OK, so then, I pulled teh
battery twice
and charged it via a normal Battery Charger, it would get to Full, I would
put it on the bike, it did not have enough juice to turn the starter over,
I did this twice, cause the 2nd time I added water to the battery and hoped
that would help,
get it started a few times so I could use it while a new Battery was being
shipped.

New Battery arrived today, put it in, Bike turned Over promptly (strong
battery).

Now, here is the issue, At Idle, the bike revs at about 4k RPM's, At Full
choke, the Bike behaves just as if it was not choked and drives fine, Its
almost like it was acting the opposite. I pulled the tank off, the covers
etc again, The Cables to the
carb seem to be fine, the Choke Diaphragms all move smoothly up and down, I
could not see any binding anywhere. I ran my hand around the CARB and
Airbox boots while it was running (I had no fluid) and could not get any
idle rev reaction, even while grabbing the air boots etc.

So, the Choke seems to be doing the opposite, did I burn out a circuit
while charging or something? Any suggestions?? Thanks

Foamy..
