On the back of the bulb it isn't hard to get to, it's the dark green wire but it runs through a dozen connections before actually grounding to the frame. I can't tell you exactly where because my bike's DSPO got in there with some duct tape and a bit of lamp cord. I would guess the stock location is under the tank maybe.
