I'm now having issues with signals. The symptoms: Front signals light normally (as running lights) when turning on the key or starting, no rear signal lights at all. If I do activate either signal, that side front signal light goes dark and stays dark, the other front signal unchanged, still nothing in the rear. Brake and headlights and horn all work normally.
Actions so far: Took a quick look at the connections, unplugged inspected and reseated all connectors for the signals with no change. Perhaps this happening right before the signals stopped functioning might help to explain it, but its not helping me: The signals worked fine until I took the bike for a long ride from Lancaster, PA to Southwest VA, during the trip at one point I stopped for fuel and when I came back out from the store I tried and tried to restart the bike, then after a half a dozen attempts I decided to give it a minute and take a look at my situation, that's when I noticed I had apparently bumped the kill switch when I shut it off. Anyway, the signals haven't worked since then, perhaps the excessive drain on the battery and charging system fried something? Any thoughts?
