I just picked up an 83 cb650, titled for real cheap, but without the starter motor. I haven't seen any good deals for a used 83-85 starter and I'm certainly not buying one new. What I have found is plenty of 79-82 starter motors for cheap, as well as other similar models around the same year (550's, 750's, 1000's). Does anyone know if these are interchangeable? or is there are any other models with compatible starter motors? If not i suppose I'll just sit on it until a good deal pops up. and by good deal I mean like the one that sold for 20 on ebay that I saw before buying the bike a few weeks ago, and was the reason I jumped on the deal. Since then there's been nothing.
