The 12v kits from CycleGear come with the wires attached, so I'm hoping their engineers did the thinking about the correct size of wire to include. All I did was bolt them to the handlebars ( have two), run the wires under the tank, and bolt the ends onto the battery terminals with along with the regular plus and ground leads.
The approximately 12V reading I got was with the bike turned off, just sitting in my garage. I'm thinking it should be 14 or so with the bike running and the charging system kicked in, as that battery is at least 3 years old and it's gotten me to the West Coast and back twice. It really is baffling to me. I want to get it right on the PC. The cell phone is actually better since I can hear the directions with the bluetooth, but I like to use the cell for music and look at the GPS to know where I am when I'm on the road. > > -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Nighthawk Motorcycle Lovers!" group.
