The only thing old enough in my stable to use them is the GS, but those Mikuni's are so finicky to tune, and it took so many carb bodies to get a full decent rack that I became intimately familiar with them. Apparently I have a friend that used to work in a bike shop, race professionally, and owned a GS1000L just like mine. He claims that he can tune one to perfection, I hope so because I still have an slightly off idle burble that I'm convinced is a mistake on Suzuki's part when selection a slide cross section. I have yet to get him into my garage.
