Oh, I don't mind. $3500. My daughter plays on a national traveling volleyball team - finished second in the country last year for their age group. They are traveling to Indianapolis, Chicago, and a couple of other places this year, so most of my "motorcycle" money has to go to her. I had a very limited budget. My thoughts were to get the most engine/accessories I could for a bike that I'll have over the next 4-5 years until she get out of high school. I figured as long as nothing was seriously wrong with the bike, no major damage, I could make it work and learn to fix the minor stuff. The VTX 1800 guy started in the $4K's too, I was able to get him down to $2500, but decide against it because of some advice from this forum and other places, but mostly because I found out I wouldn't be able to replace the head gaskets solo. The motor has to come out of the bike. It's a 2 man job. Quoted prices for the repair here in Southern California was $1000 - $1500. The only thing I'm going to add to this bike is a batwing fairing. The Michelin Commander tires are brand new.
