While we're on the topic of winterizing, kinda, I'm leaving on vacation tomorrow as many are, I suppose. I've got a lot of batteries in my garage, including the one in my lawnmower. So I'm going around with my battery tender and getting each one to glow straight green, and then I'm thinking, "Which one gets the juice when I leave?" How about all of them? Can I daisy chain them together with jumper cables or Battery Tender pigtails? If so, how many? Anybody done it? (Yes, I know I could go out and buy more Battery Tenders).
On an aside, I came back to the airport last January after an all-night flight and found my car battery was 100% dead. I didn't even get a weak interior light when I opened the door. Caught me completely off guard. That was a nightmare with me going around begging for a jump in a cold rain (no takers) while waiting hours for a jump to show up from my insurance company, all on no sleep.
