9 to 1 represents volume, I think, not pressure. As stated above even across the cylinders is important, not actual number up to a point. If you are otherwise running smoothly, consider a washer mod to richen above idle. Easy quick and cheap. If that doesn't work, then maybe consider a rebuild. Google it, but a washer mod adds washer(s) under the needle.
