While I still haven't resolved my 'CLICK-CLICK' problem on my Ninja, I have another problem on it too...my GAS TANK CAP is stuck!!! I managed to get it off and am carefully following the cleaning instructions posted on a Ninja Forum, BUT... The problem is that neither WD-40 or Deep Creep lubricant are loosening the crystallized build-up on the inside of the locking mechanism. SO!...I was just wondering if anyone on here has any ideas as to what to use to de-crystallize it? Or! ..should I just 'dremel' it off using a wire brush attachment? I am attaching a picture to give you an idea of what I am working with...
