I just looked at little closer at your pictures. Your ground wire in your hand is what gets bolted on to the negative contact on your battery, doesn't it? The other end just grounds to the frame.
As for the clip that holds the battery in, it is the same as the battery bolts, or at least it has been on my Hondas. Give it a try.
