hello,I am new to posting on this forum.I have the opportunity to purchase a 1983 Honda night hawk CB55OSC,it is an American import,imported a few years ago,its in immaculate condition and has covered 35000 miles.I have not viewed the bike yet but the owner informs me that there is a whine from the gearbox in 5th gear only,can I ask please,does anyone know of this problem on this particular model?,he seems to think that it is an anomaly to this machine,Anyone's input would be gratefully received.
