I'm living in the great white north so each fall I drain the 4 carbs until
spring. Each and every spring one or more carbs leak. This time it took me
hours and hours to stop it all. I put a hose on the vacuum part of the
fuel shut off to suck on that and get the fuel to flow to the carbs without
starting the bike, then drained all 4 carb bowels again and again. Each
time some crud came out. Did that until it came clear, then blew compressed
air (60psi) in where I took the drain plugs all the way out well holding a
finger over the bottom drain hole. After that it fired up and runs like a
scared cat, lol. Happens each year. First tank of fuel gets a good dose of
Seafoam and again later in the season.
