Friction disks are all the same
It is the outer steel that is different
Inner one might be different as well
Soak your friction plates in oil
For a while before you install them
That is very important

If you just bought an EBC kit you should only have the friction discs. You will
need to clean and retain your steels.

If I recall from my own clutch job, the outers are OBVIOUSLY different, and the
rest aren't order specific. Just make sure you alternate them.

Take your time, take pictures, don't rush.

Good Morning

I just bought back my 83 650 from someone I sold it to a couple years ago, and
noticed the clutch slipping at high RPM. $50 and an hour or two doesnt sound
too bad, thought it tackle the clutch this spring.

Seems pretty straight forward, however i have ONE question: Will the
replacement (ebc) discs be in the correct order out of the box? or do i have to
go through and measure them before putting them on?
