If I recall, the block is held on with to bolts. Once you remove it from the bike you can separate the two halves and there are a series of metal bars inside. The issue is the female spade connectors on the wiring harness get loose and don't make a firm connection. Those have to be bent back into shape. http://nighthawk.kylemunz.com/?p=166
