(pretending we're still on tires) I think I'm going with Kenda Kruz like I did for the 650. There were a few thumbs-up on the Nighthawk forum for those. I can get them for around $180 for the pair, and if I mount them myself it's $180 vs. $380 for the Michelins. I'm just not going to do any racing or other hair-on-fire stuff...just commuting to work and the occasional ride out into the country. Found some youtube videos on mounting tires with zip ties - will that give a try after my cheapo tire irons failed miserably on my attempts to mount the Kruz's for the 650 (or maybe I failed miserably, but the HF tire irons bent like wet spaghetti).
