Dielectric grease , small dab. Keeps out corrosion you don't see forming. Make sure all female parts are tight enough to receive male parts with some resistance. No I'm talking about your honeymoon. Everything electrical that you can unplug should be tight fight. After having a couple meltdowns like you show, although in different areas, I use needle nose pliers to tight up female part to ensure good fit
