Up on two wheels again after a long cold winter. 83 Nighthawk approx
141,000 km. In the past for storage I'd run it out of fuel and drain the
bowels. At spring start up there would be lots of carb flooding. The last 2
years after draining everything I blew straight Sea Foam up from the bottom
drain line in each carb and let it sit there over winter. No more carb
flooding in the spring and the bike runs better, idles better after that
winter treatment. During the riding season I also use Sea Foam in the fuel
and only Top Tier fuels with the higher engine cleaner content, not to be
confused with higher octane fuels. FYI I also stopped using the cheap fuel
in my car and only buy Top Tier and have noticed the difference after a
year. Still close to 34f in the morning and the bike is not too happy about
it but I am, lol.

Ride safe everyone.
