*Hi All-Two weeks ago I purchased a 1983 Nighthawk 650 that hadn't been 
turned over in years.  I've got her running now, but need some help on rear 
wheel installation / alignment.I think I have the rear wheel installed 
correctly, but there are these two "gaps" around the hub on either side 
that just don't seem right to me.  Also, the tire seems kind of close to 
the swingarm on the left side ... but maybe that is normal.I'm hoping folks 
can access my pics of the rear hub at the link below.  If not, someone

the center axis of the bike (see pic) and the rear wheel does seem 
centered.  I'm feeling a little clunk when a shift gears, and I am worried 
that it has something to do with rear wheel installation and the final 
drive.  Also, I don't think the swingarm boot was properly seated and a 
bunch of water got down into the drive shaft assembly.  So perhaps the 
drive shaft damper isn't working as it should.*
