*Hi All-Two weeks ago I purchased a 1983 Nighthawk 650 that hadn't been
turned over in years. I've got her running now, but need some help on rear
wheel installation / alignment.I think I have the rear wheel installed
correctly, but there are these two "gaps" around the hub on either side
that just don't seem right to me. Also, the tire seems kind of close to
the swingarm on the left side ... but maybe that is normal.I'm hoping folks
can access my pics of the rear hub at the link below. If not, someone
please tell me how to post pics
please.https://photos.app.goo.gl/iNGnB6g9AJhjLxT67
<https://photos.app.goo.gl/iNGnB6g9AJhjLxT67>I dropped a plumb line from
the center axis of the bike (see pic) and the rear wheel does seem
centered. I'm feeling a little clunk when a shift gears, and I am worried
that it has something to do with rear wheel installation and the final
drive. Also, I don't think the swingarm boot was properly seated and a
bunch of water got down into the drive shaft assembly. So perhaps the
drive shaft damper isn't working as it should.*
