Your first option is what I just put on a CB650SC this morning. Took me about an hour or so to take the old tires off and mount the new ones and that’s with sticking the new valve in the wrong way and 5 minutes contemplating which way the tires go on. Even with the arrow on the tire telling me I have still put it on backwards before. Another 25 minutes to put the wheels back on the bike.
